Alisson Set for Liverpool Return Against Nottingham Forest After Hamstring Injury

Liverpool manager Arne Slot has confirmed that goalkeeper Alisson Becker is expected to return to action this weekend against Nottingham Forest at Anfield. The Brazilian has resumed full training following a hamstring injury sustained in the 1-0 defeat to Galatasaray on September 30, which sidelined him for eight matches. Slot stated that if Alisson completes the final preparations without setbacks, he will be available for Saturday’s Premier League clash.

Liverpool face Nottingham Forest on Saturday, 22 November 2025, in Week 12 of the Premier League. Alisson’s return is a major boost for the team, who have endured mixed results in recent weeks, including a heavy defeat to Manchester City before the international break. His comeback coincides with injury setbacks for Conor Bradley and Florian Wirtz, both ruled out due to muscle problems.

With Alisson back between the posts, Liverpool will look to stabilize defensively and regain momentum as they host Nottingham Forest in front of the Anfield crowd.
