Liverpool have been dealt a double setback ahead of their upcoming Premier League fixture against Nottingham Forest at Anfield on Saturday, November 22, 2025. Manager Arne Slot revealed during his pre-match press conference that both Florian Wirtz and Conor Bradley will be unavailable after sustaining muscle injuries during the recent international break.

Slot explained: “Conor Bradley is not able to play, Florian Wirtz is not able to play, that is far from ideal.” He further clarified that Bradley’s recovery is expected to take approximately three weeks, while Wirtz’s absence should be shorter.

This news comes at a crucial stage of the season, with Liverpool aiming to bounce back from inconsistent league form. Nottingham Forest’s visit to Anfield is particularly significant, as the Reds suffered defeat in the corresponding fixture last season. Slot emphasized the importance of maintaining momentum despite the injury setbacks.

On a positive note, goalkeeper Alisson Becker has returned to full fitness and is available for selection, providing a timely boost to Liverpool’s defensive stability.
