
Born on October 18, 1992, in Toronto, Lofranco’s death on November 18, 2025, was confirmed by his brother, Santino, who shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, calling him “a legend” and adding, “You changed people’s lives, and now you are with God… I will always love you and miss you, Bear.”

Lofranco launched his film career in 2013 with At Middleton before taking on the lead role in the 2014 crime drama Jamesy Boy. That same year, he appeared as Harry Brooks in Angelina Jolie’s Unbroken, earning praise for his performance. In 2018, he portrayed John Gotti Jr. alongside John Travolta in Gotti, which became his final credited role.
Despite pressure to pursue hockey or law, Lofranco followed his passion for acting, studying at the New York Film Academy and expressing a desire to make “real-life, candid films.”
His unexpected passing has left fans, colleagues, and family mourning a rising talent whose career ended far too soon.
