Barcelona opened the scoring in the 10th minute through Robert Lewandowski, who converted a penalty after a handball incident involving Marcos Alonso. Celta Vigo quickly responded just a minute later, with Sergio Carreira equalising for the hosts.
Lewandowski restored Barcelona’s lead in the 37th minute, finishing off a well-placed assist from Marcus Rashford. However, Celta struck back before the break when Borja Iglesias levelled again in the 43rd minute.
Before half-time, 17-year-old Lamine Yamal made it 3-2 for Barcelona with a composed finish, giving Hansi Flick’s men the advantage heading into the second half. The decisive moment came in the 73rd minute when Lewandowski completed his hat-trick, heading home from a Rashford corner to secure the 4-2 win.
