Nigerian Stars Davido, Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, Omah Lay, and Wizkid Earn 2026 Grammy Nominations

Nigerian artistes have earned multiple nominations for the 68th Annual Grammy Awards scheduled for 2026, further cementing the country’s growing impact on the global music scene.

Davido, Omah Lay, Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, and Wizkid are among the top Nigerian stars recognised in this year’s nominations.

Burna Boy received a nomination for his track Love in the Best African Music Performance category, while his album No Sign of Weakness was listed for Best Global Music Album. Davido and Omah Lay’s collaboration With You also earned a nomination in the Best African Music Performance category. Likewise, Ayra Starr and Wizkid were jointly nominated for their hit single Gimme Dat in the same category.

The 2026 Grammy Awards ceremony will take place on February 1, 2026, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
