Pedro Neto Didn't Hide His Feelings As He Celebrates Goal Against Former Club Wolves

Pedro Neto scored and celebrated in front of his former club last night as Chelsea defeated Wolverhampton Wanderers 3‑0 in the Premier League. The goals came from Malo Gusto in the 51st minute, João Pedro in the 65th, and Neto himself in the 73rd to seal the win.

Neto’s goal held particular significance. Having joined Chelsea from Wolves in August 2024 on a reported £51.4 million deal with a seven‑year contract, he returned to his former side’s stadium and marked the occasion by celebrating in front of supporters of his old club.

The match itself was fairly comfortable for Chelsea after a goalless first half. Gusto opened the scoring early in the second half, João Pedro doubled the lead, and then Neto capitalized on a cross from Alejandro Garnacho to complete the attack. Wolves, for their part, remained at the bottom of the table, still searching for their first win of the season.
