Nigeria’s Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has once again been honored as the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year, marking her third straight win.
The 24‑year-old shot-stopper received the prestigious accolade at the 2025 CAF Awards ceremony held in Rabat, Morocco. She outperformed her rivals — Morocco’s Khadija Er‑Rmichi and South Africa’s Andile Dlamini — to secure the title.
Nnadozie enjoyed a stellar year, both domestically and internationally. At club level, she made a significant impact with Paris FC, helping them win the Coupe de France Féminine. On the international stage, she played a pivotal role in the Super Falcons’ 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) triumph — she kept four clean sheets during the tournament and was named the competition’s best goalkeeper.
Following her WAFCON heroics, Nnadozie made a high-profile move to Brighton & Hove Albion in the English Women’s Super League, where she continued to impress. On her debut, she was awarded Player of the Match and has since been nominated for honors such as WSL Save of the Month, as well as PFA Fans’ Player of the Month.
