The House of Representatives warned that rushing into a full digital transition could spark mass failure, student distress, and more, calling for more time to build capacity.
WAEC is adopting a phased rollout, starting with objective papers, while working to improve access, power supply, internet connectivity, and more across the country. The council also assured that no student will be left behind — all candidates will still have the option to sit for their exams in 2026 via the traditional pen-and-paper format.
