Mikel Arteta has provided an update on Ben White's injury after Arsenal's 2-1 win over Wolves. White was substituted off in the 31st minute with a hamstring issue, and Arteta fears he might be out for a while.

Arteta said, "He hasn't played a lot of minutes because of the previous knee issue that he had, and then the moment he started to get some momentum, he had to play a lot because we didn't have any other solution".

White's injury is a blow to Arsenal, who are already dealing with several injuries. The Gunners are currently top of the Premier League table, five points clear of Manchester City.

The match was played at Emirates Stadium on December 13, 2025, with a sell-out crowd witnessing a tense encounter. Arsenal dominated possession but struggled to create clear chances, with White's departure leaving a gap in the defense. Myles Lewis-Skelly came on as a substitute and impressed, helping Arsenal push for a winner.

Arteta praised White's attitude and performance before his injury, saying, "Personally, I'm very, very happy for him as a human being. But his attitude has been so positive, so good. Then when you are ready and you're given the opportunity, you take it like he did today. So I'm very happy that we have him back in the best version of himself as well, and we're going to need him because he's a tremendous player".
