2Baba, the Nigerian singer, is facing a potential court case over an alleged unpaid legal fee of ₦7 million.
The law firm, C.S. Nworgu & Co., claims to have facilitated the rental of a five-bedroom semi-detached duplex with a boys' quarters in Abuja for 2Baba and his wife, Natasha Idibia. The couple allegedly paid ₦40 million upfront and agreed to pay another ₦40 million by December 2025, but failed to settle the professional fees.

The law firm has given 2Baba a seven-day ultimatum to pay the outstanding amount, warning that they will take legal action if he doesn't comply. This is not the first time 2Baba's family has faced legal issues

In Nigeria, landlords can evict tenants for non-payment of rent, breach of tenancy agreement, or if the tenant overstays after the lease has expired. To evict a tenant, the landlord must serve a valid Notice to Quit and a 7-day Owner's Intention notice, then apply for a court order for possession

2Baba is also dealing with personal issues, including a separation from his wife Annie Idibia and allegations of bigamy and financial misappropriation made by his family against his current wife, Natasha Osawaru
