Nigeria’s medal hope, Blessing Okagbare has qualified for the final of the long jump event at the 2017 IAAF World Championships in London.
Okagbare leaped 6.51 metres in the Semi Finals to place second in her group behind Britain’s Lorraine Ugen who posted 6.63 metres.
However, Commonwealth Champion Ese Brume failed to meet the qualification standard with a jump of 6.38 metres.
