Toni Kroos is one player who is not convinced by Asensio and is keen to talk to Perez.
It is claimed that Kroos feels under-appreciated and wants wages to at least match Asensio’s.
He feels he’s been an important player for a long enough time to justify a better salary.
Real Madrid are finding things tough domestically this season and already trail Barcelona by seven points.
But they face Espanyol on Sunday as they look to build some momentum before the international break.
Asensio has been one of their standout performers with two goals in six La Liga games.
