Former Liverpool Blocks Carragher On Twitter

Jamie Carragher's Liverpool career has revealed the Liverpool player who blocked him on Twitter.

The former England defender had 17 years of playing football and made 737 appearances for Liverpool including 150 European appearances.

He won eleven trophies in total and made 38 international caps for England.

Carragher retired in 2013 and still has strong ties with the club as he's now a pundit on Sky Sports.

Earlier today, 31-year-old Jose Enrique officially retired.

Meanwhile and Carragher was hoping to send him a 'good luck' message on Twitter but got 'blocked!'

The pundit tweeted a screenshot showing that Enrique had decided to block him on social media.

Here’s How Their Beef Started:

In 2013 Carragher said, "I stopped talking to Enrique in the end, I had no idea what he was going to do and he didn't listen to me anyway."

In 2015, the Sky Sports regular had more to say about the Spaniard who spent five years at Anfield, eventually leaving in 2016 when his contract expired.

“[Enrique] said he wanted to fight for his place," Carragher wrote in his Daily Mail column. "He added that he had looked to Spain for a move but economic conditions make it difficult.

“That translates as: I’m staying because no-one in Spain can afford me and I don’t care if I don’t play (just like last season) because I’m waiting to go on a free next summer when my contract expires.

“I am sure there are clubs in England or Spain who would want him for less money. It is about whether he really has the hunger to play even if it means a pay cut.”
