Ever green Juju music star is grieves following the death of his music mentor and father in the fuji music General Prince Adekunle.
Sir Shina Peters Pays tribute to the departed legend, General Prince Adekunle, he wrote on his social media page.
“I woke up this morning, heard people crying. I said what happened? They said my Mentor, Father, the big boss, PRINCE JOSIAH ADEKUNLE has left this sinful world. Daddy you have contributed immensely to the Entertainment World, especially in Africa. May the LORD grant you eternal peace. RIP. Young Shina omo Adekunle.”
Adekunle is credited with influencing Sir Shina Peters career is known for his rich, bluesy collection of philosophical Juju music. He was one of the successful band leaders in the 70s and 80s.
During his illustrious career, he mentored a generation of Juju artistes including Sir Shina Peters, Dayo Kujore and Segun Adewale.
