Why I Paid So Much To Sign Lindelof - Mourinho

Mourinho has disclosed the reason behind his signing of Lindelof for £30m.

The center back joined Red Devils from Benfica in the summer window.

Lindelof has come under criticism after his poor diaplay against Real Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup and Saturday 2-2 draw against Stoke City.

While Dismissing doubts over his qualities, Mourinho told the Sunday Times, via Manchester Evening News: "Lindelof was the only one (signing) that I didn’t work with (before). But in Portugal, I control. I control inside information.

"I know the qualities of the people, I know many things about social life, about private life, I know because even without working for that, the informations are arriving."
