Following the recent attack by bandits in Zamfara, President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered military action in the state.
It has been learnt that Buhari had approved" the setting up of an Intelligence Fusion Centre in Maiduguri for the purpose of gathering and sharing intelligence among security agencies."
The tweet added that Buhari has approved" the movement of the 1 Brigade of@HQNigerianArmy from Sokoto to Gusau upon the take-off of the 8 Division, and the stationing of a full battalion of Special Forces in Zamfara State, and the operationalization, in the new Order of Battle (OBAT), of the newly-established 8 Division of @HQNigerianArmy in Sokoto."
