Christoph Kramer trained with the team for the first time since his injury on Wednesday morning.
The Fohlenelf continued  to set up his game ahead of the Mainz game.
Christoph Kramer was back in team training for the first time after his injury lay-off.
It was learnt that The four goalkeepers trained with goalkeeping coach Uwe Kamps, while the 18 outfield players practised playing in several different formations.
Christoph Kramer was back at training for the first time in two weeks, after muscle problems in his thigh set him out.
“It felt good today and I didn’t have any problems with my thigh,” said Kramer after the session.
However, Ibrahima Traoré could not take part: “He’s picked up a muscle injury,” explained head coach Dieter Hecking.
Meanwhile, Raúl Bobadilla (pelvic injury) trained with rehab coach Andy Bluhm. László Bénes (metatarsal fracture) and Tobias Strobl (knee injury) could also not take part in training.
