FC Barcelona will say goodbye to Mascherano on Wednesday at 11.00am CET.
It has been reported by the club that the ceremony will be streamed live in English on BarçaVideo, Facebook, andYouTube
According to statement via www.fcbarcelona.com reads:
"Javier Mascherano is leaving FC Barcelona after seven and a half seasons. The Argentinian will be receiving an institutional farewell from the club on Wednesday at 11.00am CET in the Auditori 1899, at an event that will be streamed on the club website.
It will be attended by club presidentJosep Maria Bartomeu and the first team squad.
Be there at Camp Nou when Javier Mascherano says goodbye to the Barça fans! It happens this Thursday night when Barça hosts Espanyol in the Copa del Rey quarterfinal return leg. Kickoff is at 9.30pm CET. "
After seven an the half season, Mascherano arrived from Liverpool and was presented to the fans and media on 30 August 2010.
He has won 18 official titles. He made 334 official appearances under five different coaches:Pep Guardiola, Tito Vilanova, Tata Martino, Luis Enrique and Ernesto Valverde.
Only thee foreigners have ever played more games for Barça than the ‘Little Chief’, namely Leo Messi, Phillip Cocu and Dani Alves.
