1. FC Köln have secured the services of French midfielder Vincent Koziello from OGC Nice.
The 22-year-old midfielder played 102 competitive matches for Nice and scored four goals in the Ligue 1.
He has also scored two goals in four matches for the French U21 side.
Vincent Koziello has signed a contract with 1. FC Köln until 30 June 2022.
Koziello will begin training with the squad on Wednesday. He will wear jersey number 41.
FC General Manager Armin Veh states: “Vincent was my primary target from the very start. If we were going to sign another player, it was going to be him. He can be used variably in midfield and expands our possibilities. I am very happy that the transfer was able to take place.”
Vincent Koziello said: “FC was very zealous in their pursuit of me. We had some good talks and I felt well right away. I am coming to a big club in a strong league, but I also have the ambition to play as quickly as possible and to help the club achieve its goals.”
