Katsina played a 2-2 draw against Pillars

Katsina United played out a 2-2 draw against Kano Pillars in the match day one of the NPFL opening game.

Junior Lokosa scored in the 33 minutes for the away side. But Chinedu Ajanah Chukwujekwu levelled in the 45th minutes.

In the second half, Alassan Ibrahim 61st minutes goal saw Pillars retake the lead. 

Katsina United held on to secure the second leveller in the 90th minutes as Destiny Ashadi struck as both sides share the points.
