The name Tony Tetuila was a household name during the 90's from the The Remedies, a musical group made up of him, Eedris Abdulkareem and Eddy Montana.

He later went solo but way back put his music career on hold to venture into haulage business and politics.

Recall In the 2015, Tony Tetuila contested for a seat in the State House of Assembly but was defeated at the primary of his party, the All Progressive Congress.

He told the Punch that he is waiting for Governor Fatah Ahmed to fulfill his promise of giving him appointment.

“I lost a lot of money which I cannot estimate but the experience that I got is immeasurable.

“The last time I saw Governor Ahmed, he told me that his administration still had two years. So, I believe that he would still do something. I have not recovered the money I lost when I ventured into politics but I am not crying over that because I am a man.”

He added that left the music scene over after 11 years ago, but he is set to release a new song titled: ‘This Girl”.

“Some people have told me that it sounds good while some others have told me to work harder but that is life for you. I am working on a new song, ‘This Girl’, and it would be released this month. Every song that turns into a hit has been destined by God.”
