Bisi Alimi  reminisced about his humble beginning after his portrait was unveiled at the Aldgate East tube station in London. 

 

The g-ay rights activist told of how he grew up in a one-room home where he lived with his entire family but now has his portrait in a strategic spot where millions of Londoners traveling daily can see it.
