Julian Nagelsmann will leave Hoffenheim at the end of the 2018-19 season, the Bundesliga club have announced.
The news emerged on Thursday after Hoffenheim made a public announcement that the 30-year-old would be spending his final season in charge of the club.
Leipzig quickly followed up on the announcement with one of their own, revealing Nagelsmann would become their new manager after agreeing a contract until 2023.

Leipzig recently parted ways with their manager Ralf Hasenhuttl, who stepped down earlier this month after failing to guide the club back into the Champions League.
Nagelsmann had been linked with a series of top teams during his time with Hoffenheim, and was heavily tipped as a replacement for Arsene Wenger before the eventual appointment of Unai Emery.
