Madonna and her adopted son return back to the place they met

Madonna and her adopted son David Banda, shared a touching moment together as they visited the original home where David was adopted from in  Malawi, Southeastern Africa.
David was adopted in 2006 when he was only a baby. Madonna had met David back then and fell in love instantly during a visit when she was working with the organization Raising Malawi.
Going back to the exact orphanage where they first met, the songstress hugged her now 12-year-old tight and captioned the photo: ‘Crib where we met.’
The star had to endure heavy controversy at the time she adopted David and admitted recently that she once ‘cried herself to sleep’ after reading headlines accusing her of ‘kidnapping’ David from Lilongwe orphanage, Home of Hope. The Controversy was fueled by the fact that David still had a biological father living.

The ‘Like A Virgin’ hitmaker has four adopted children from Malawi – David Banda in 2006 and Mercy James in 2009, and twins Esther and Stella Mwale who were adopted in 2017. She also has biological children, her daughter Lourdes Leon, a 21-year old dancer/actress, and son Rocco Ritchie who is 17. The whole family made the trip to Malawi.
