JOSE MOURINHO has been dealt a huge transfer blow after top target Willian declared his loyalty to Chelsea.
The Brazilian superstar is nearing the end of his post-World Cup holiday as questions marks surround his immediate future.
Willian insists he is happy to stay at Chelsea this summer
Barcelona failed with three bids for the 30-year-old, eventually turning to Bordeaux youngster Malcom instead.
United boss Mourinho is also keen on making a move for Willian after snapping up Nemanja Matic from Chelsea last summer.
But Willian insists he has no plans to leave Stamford Bridge before the transfer window closes on August 9.
And the ace is instead focused on linking up with new boss Maurizio Sarri ahead of another gruelling Premier League season.
Willian told Globo Esporte: “[Leaving?] No, I’m back to England. I’m very happy at Chelsea.
“I’m very happy living in London.”
Willian’s words are sure to come as a huge relief to Sarri, who is sweating over the futures of a number of other stars in the capital.
