According to reports, he's expected to return in January as he has traveled to Spain to see a doctor. Although, the Premier League champions have been boosted with the return of David Silva.
The Spanish midfielder announced his retirement from international football days ago.
Ahead of Sunday's clash with Huddersfield Town, Pep said: '' For Kevin De Bruyne and his family its hard but we accept it. Human beings have a limit and these things happen. He will be a big miss.
Last season, in terms of injuries, was incredible we have best staff in England."
On David Silva: ''he trained with us in the last few sessions and trained good. Last week he wasn’t fit.''
