The late Kardashian patriarch Robert Kardashian Sr. passed away from esophageal cancer in September 2003 at the age of 59.
But his doting daughters and son have helped keep his memory alive in the nearly 15-years since his death.
And on Tuesday, Kim did just that when she shared a throwback photo of her with her dad on Instagram.
The picture is from circa 1998, when Kim was just 17-years old, which is five-years before his death.
It shows a seeming happy Robert Sr. gazing into the camera with a big bold smile across his face as his daughter sits inches from him.
To put things in perspective, Kim graduated from Marymount High School in Bel-Air around the time this photo was taken 20-years ago.
Kim and her three siblings Kourtney, Khloe and Robert Jr. have consistently honored their beloved father by sharing touching tributes through the years.
Sometimes they will randomly share a photo or a memory like Tuesday’s throwback.
To pay tribute on his birthday last February, which would have been his 74th birthday, Kim shared a photo of her father on Twitter, as reported by E News.
‘Happy Heavenly Birthday Dad! Miss you so bad,” she tweeted. ‘I ordered your favorite Ralph’s cake to celebrate! Love you forever.’
She also shared a video of her dad when he surprised her with a new car on her sweet sixteen birthday.
‘Happy birthday. You’re the best. You’re gorgeous. You deserve this automobile,” he said at the end of the video message. ‘And it better be cleaned every week,’ he joked.
