Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino appears to have got his hands on some protective glasses as he continues to get over an eye injury sustained at Tottenham on Saturday.
The Brazilian had his left eye accidentally gouged by Spurs defender Jan Vertonghen as they tussled for the ball at Wembley, leading to Firmino being taken to hospital before returning to Merseyside.
Firmino recovered enough to be on the bench against Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night though and proved to be his side's hero after scoring a late winner to complete a remarkable three days. He celebrated by putting one hand over his injured eye.
Footage emerged on the Instagram account of Liverpool defender Alberto Moreno on Wednesday of Firmino trying on a pair of glasses that look to be specifically designed to protect his eye. He then was captured wearing them in training as Liverpool warmed down after their Champions League group stage win.
