Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema has joined Los Blancos legend Raul Gonzalez and Barcelona attacker Lionel Messi in Champions League goal record after finding the net against Viktoria Plzen on Tuesday evening.
Benzema has now scored in 14 consecutive seasons in the Europe elite club competition, having previously scored in four successive seasons for his former club Olympique Lyon.
The French forward might not be the fans favourite at the Santiago Bernabeu, but he has earned his mark at the club most prestigious tournament and rubbing shoulders with some of the game's finest players.
Benzema is not far from hitting 200 goals for Real Madrid with just two goals shy from the feat despite operating as a shadow striker behind a main forward.
He has been consistent since his arrival in Spain, having won four Champions League with the Spanish giant, he is enjoying his tenth season with the European Champions.
He scored his first Champions League goal while with his former team Lyon in 2005 against Rosenborg and went on to score in four successive seasons before he switched to Real Madrid to continue his scoring spree in each Champions League a feat which is only managed by Real Madrid Legend Raul and Messi.
