MANCHESTER UNITED whizkid Aidan Barlow joined first-team training yesterday ahead of Sunday's derby.

The midfielder, 18, starred for the Under-19s against Juventus in the Uefa Youth League on Wednesday.

Barlow scored a penalty as Nicky Butt's side drew 2-2 to remain top of their group.

And he was rewarded for his form with the chance to earn some experience alongside United's biggest stars.

Jose Mourinho welcomed Romelu Lukaku back to action after he missed the games against Juve and Bournemouth with injury.

The Belgian is not guaranteed to reclaim his place after Alexis Sanchez led the line in his absence and Anthony Martial hit form.

Asked if he would be in the squad to take on Manchester City, Mourinho said: "Lukaku is training with the team this morning.

"If this answer is positive and we have of course one more session tomorrow, if the answer is positive he's ready but in this moment I can only say he trains with the team, I don't know his answer."
