Everton held Chelsea at Bridge to a goalless draw

It was a tight affair which opened up delightfully in the second half, with the game getting increasingly stretched as time came off the clock.

Both sides had their fair chances to score, with Marcos Alonso striking the base of the post, and Sigurdsson forcing a good save from Kepa at full stretch.


 Six yellow cards, divided evenly at 3-3 tells the story as this match certainly had its fair share of physicality. Ultimately, it’s a good point for both sides who can head into the international break on the back of a deserved result.
