Republic of Ireland manager, Martin O'Neil, together with his assistant Roy Keane, have resigned after Ireland failed to register a single competitive win in 2018.
As a result of their wanting performance, Ireland were relegated from the UEFA Nations League Group B4.
"I thank Martin, Roy, and the management for the impact they had," said Football Association of Ireland (FAI) chief John Delaney.
O'Neill had only just extended his contract to 2020, but after further reconsideration the FAI deemed fit to let him go.
