Bayana Bayana gaffer Desiree Ellis has said his side would beat Nigeria again in the 2018 African Women’s Cup of Nations holding in Ghana.

The South Africans pipped Nigeria by a lone goal in their first encounter in the competition.

And Nigeria, after losing the game, went on to book a date with the Bayana Bayana in the final of the competition.

The Super Falcons beat Cameroon 4-2 on penalties in the semi-final while South Africa edged out Mali 1-0, on the other hand.

As both teams seek glory on Saturday, Ellis is optimistic that her girls would stop Nigeria from winning their 9th continental crown.

“We will celebrate tonight and start preparing for the final. We are not a team that talk much in the media,” Ellis told CAF.com.

“We will work together as a team and plan again. And hope to execute the plan because that’s all it is about.

“We have never won the Women’s AFCON and we are going to give it shot and see what happens on the weekend.”
