Nigeria senior women national team on Wednesday evening landed in Ghana for the 2018 Africa Women's Cup of Nations that starts on November 17.

The nation’s delegation comprising of 21 players and 10 officials hit Accra, the nation's capital before making the trip to Cape Coast for their Group B games.

The Super Falcons qualified for the 11th edition and are set to defend the title they won two years ago in Cameroon.

Nigeria must negotiate past South Africa in their opener on Sunday at the Cape Coast Stadium, before further clashes against Zambia and two-time winners Equatorial Guinea.

Aside from defending their African crown, the Super Falcons will be looking to clinch one of the three tickets to next year's Fifa Women's World Cup in France.
