Arsenal manager Unai Emery transfer target Fernando Calero was spotted in London amid rumours that he could make a cut-price £10million move to the Emirates.
Gunners Spanish coach keen on bringing a new centre-back in the Janaury transfer market after Rob Holding’s season was ended prematurely through injury, while Laurent Koscielny is still working his way back after tearing his Achilles in May.
The 23-year-old Real Valladolid centre-back is believed to be top of their list, while his release clause of just €11m (£10m) has already attracted interest from clubs such as Borussia Dortmund and Sevilla.
Calero took his social media by posting an image on Instagram from London Waterloo.
Calero played in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Athletic Bilbao and hopped on a plane to England shortly after.
