Oxlade-Chamberlain’s season was ruined at the backend of last season.
The England star was stretchered off in the Champions League semi-final win against Roma with damaged knee ligaments.
It’s been widely believed that the Ox will play no part in Liverpool’s 2018-19 campaign.
However there’s now a glimmer of hope Oxlade-Chamberlain could be back before the end of the season.
That’s after the midfielder posted his first picture training outside on the grass since his injury.
Sharing an image with his arms raised Rocky style, the Ox wrote:
That feeling when you’re finally back out on the grass for the first time in 8 months.
It’s obvious that the Ox has the support of his team mates in his battle to comeback from injury.
Mohamed Salah celebrated the Ox returning to grass on social media.
Salah shared the same image which Oxlade-Chamberlain posted, adding the message: “It was a joy watching you run again.”
