Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, ably represented by his deputy, Mrs. Cecilia Ezeilo, receives "The Independent Governor of the Year 2018 for Grassroots Development Award" in recognition of his administration's rural infrastructure development strides in addressing the age-long rural-urban drift for socio-economic expansion of the state.

Vanguard Newspapers, today, January 18, also honour him as the 2018 Vanguard Governor of the Year.
