Cardi B celebrated her major Grammys win by getting her lip pierced not once but twice.
Luis Vega is the owner of City of Angels Tattoos in the city and he revealed that the Bodak Yellow rapper arrived at his studio on Monday and it was only when he looked outside and saw her ‘entourage in a caravan of luxury cars’ that he realised he was working with a star.
He told TMZ that he recognised Cardi’s face but ‘initially figured she was just a former client’.
‘After Cardi told him she was from New York, Luis told her she looked and sounded like Cardi … and that’s when light bulbs started going off,’ said TMZ.
And the price? The bargain deal of $25 (£20) for two piercings.
However Cardi may have already decided she’s not a fan of the look as on Wednesday night she partied at the Ignite Angels and Devils pre-Valentine’s Day party and there was no sign of the piercings…
Cardi, who was crowned winner of the best rap album with her debut Invasion of Privacy, took to Twitter at 6am the day after the Grammys still looking completely glammed up (seriously, how does she do that?) to thank everyone.
