Barcelona have announced that their players will wear special shirts in El Clasico against Real Madrid on Wednesday night, which will feature the players' names in Chinese underneath the usual characters.
This is to commemorate Chinese New Year, and it is the first time that Barcelona have had new characters on the back of their shirt.
Across shops in the city, the club are selling limited copies of the strip with the names in Chinese.
This goes alongside Barcelona's video sending congratulations for the Chinese holiday, featuring Lionel Messi, Gerard Pique, Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Samuel Umtiti.
Once the season concludes, Barcelona will travel to China and Japan for pre-season and this marketing decision will play a key role in the Blaugrana growing the number of fans they have in Asia.
