And it appears that Perrie Edwards and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain may be ready to take their relationship to the next level.

The ex Arsenal attacker dropped a big hint that a marriage proposal is on the cards for the couple.

The 25-year-old footballer set tongues wagging after he was questioned on whether he can see himself marrying Perrie soon, as the couple made a red carpet appearance at the BRIT Awards on Wednesday evening.

Alex stood proudly by his girlfriend's side after she acceptance the Best Video award with her band Little Mix for their hit Women Like Me at the event.

During the evening Alex was asked by The Sun whether it was going to 'put a ring on it', he nodded and smiled before offering a cheeky wink, the website reported. 

The couple looked sensational for their night at the music awards ceremony, with Perrie sporting an array of looks throughout the evening.
