Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is slowly stepping up his injury comeback, Jurgen Klopp has revealed.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has not featured for almost 12 months, but is expected to play before the close of the season.
The midfielder’s return could serve as a major boost for Liverpool who are hoping to end the campaign as Premier League champions.
‘Ox is doing 70 per cent of team training,’ Klopp said.
‘He trains full, but not as much as the others. Then he leaves a bit early to do something else and the things he needs.
‘Everyone is always looking for a reaction, but nothing has happened yet.
‘We have to prepare him for his entire career, not just one particular game. When he’s in training it looks very nice.’
