Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes Manchester United’s away support has contributed to their record-breaking success on the road.
The Red Devils won an eighth consecutive away game for the first time in their history by beating Crystal Palace 3-1 on Wednesday night.
Despite being without an array of first-team regulars, Solskjaer continued his remarkable win rate thanks to a brace from Romelu Lukaku and a late strike from Ashley Young.
And Solskjaer believes their support is a key reason for his success.
“There are loads of keys,” he told talkSPORT. “Hard work – you need to earn the right to win games of football.
“We defended really well, stuck together as a team.
“We’ve got great away fans, the supporters are fantastic. Wherever we go, it feels like we’ve got a twelfth man on there.”
