The Catalan national team will call up Real Betis defender Marc Bartra to their squad when it is announced publicly on Wednesday.

On Monday, 25 March, the Catalan side will take on Venezuela's national team in a fixture at Montilivi in Girona.
As RAC1 reported, while Bartra has been called up, his club teammate Cristian Tello will not join him.
Betis and the Catalan Football Federation have agreed that he will stay in Seville in order to avoid any risk of an injury relapse following the muscle problem he suffered last month.
With Bartra and Wilfrid Kaptoum joining the other internationals who left on Monday, along with injuries to Junior, Francis and Antonio Barragan, Quique Setien will only be able to count on ten players for first team training in the coming days.
