Henry reportedly built a positive relationship with the players during his tenure as assistant coach.
Belgium came third at the 2018 World Cup with Henry on staff, and it appears he may be making a return.
The choice for Henry now is to whether to go back to being a coach or try and make his managerial career work elsewhere.
His time at Monaco was short lived. He was sacked after 104 days, overseeing just 20 games which saw the usual Ligue 1 high-flyers slip down the table into a relegation battle.
Henry was replaced by former boss Leonardo Jardim, who has improved results slightly. However, Monaco are still currently 16th, with just 30 points from 29 games
