Dropping Hazard against Cardiff was perfect - Sarri

MAURIZIO SARRI reveals dropping Eden Hazard was the “perfect” decision - while admitting he is “getting used” to abuse from Chelsea fans.

Chelsea escaped Cardiff with all three points thanks to late goals from Cesar Azplicueta and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

But eyebrows were raised before kick off as Eden Hazard, N’Golo Kante and Callum Hudson-Odoi were all benched.

Speaking to Sky Sports the Blues manager justified his decision to bench Hazard until the second-half as they came out eventual winners.

Sarri said: “At the end we gain the three points and Eden played only 35 minutes - so perfect (decision).”
