According to report some players and teams have been accused of bending the truth. It was learn that teams from Ghana, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Congo-Brazzaville and Kenya have been hit with age scandals in recent years.

Football governing body FIFA introduce the MRI scan to check the age of players.

But the MRI scan look at the development of the bone area in the wrist joint. This means that if the bones have fixed together in this area, FIFA says this usually means the player is over 17 years.
