Raul Jimenez's has been given the award of best player in the Premier League by the Association of Football Writers in the Midlands.
Wolves are currently sitting in the best of the rest position, in 7th place. They are behind the 'Big 6' and occupy the last remaining spot in Europe after a phenomenal first season back in the Premier League.
The Mexican striker has scored some vital goals for Wolves this season and recently signed a three year contract with the Midlands club.
In the 41 games he has played this season,the former Benfica forward has scored 16 goals and has seven assists. He also scored vital goals in the FA Cup run, where Wolves were defeated in the Semi-Finals by Watford in Extra Time.
For these reasons, the Football Writers Association of the Midlands, have selected the Mexican as the best in the Premier League from among the teams in the region.
