Nigeria's Flying Eagles were held to a 1-1 draw by Ukraine in their final group D game of the FIFA U20 World Cup.
Ukraine went ahead in the 30th minute through Danylo Sikan's header before Nigeria was awarded a penalty.
Muhamed Tijani stepped up but lost the spot kick as Ukraine took a 1-0 lead into half time.
Six minutes after the restart, Nigeria was awarded another penalty after a handball inside the box, but this time, Tijani did not make a mistake as he converted to bring the Flying Eagles on level.
Nigeria kept the pressure, leaving Ukraine to do the defending, but nothing changed as the final score stood at 1-1.
Nigeria finished 3rd in the group with four points, following USA's 1-0 victory over Qatar.
The Flying Eagles will wait for the outcome of other group's matches to determine if they will qualify as one of the best losers.
