Popular footballer, Christian Jacob shot dead along Umuola road in Aba the commercial city of Abia state, he was attacked by armed robbers on Wednesday evening.
He was immediately shot dead after he was dispossessed of his mobile phone by his assailants, leaving his lifeless body on the scene.
Christian Jacob played for Enyimba Football Club Aba, Iwuanyanwu National Football club of Owerri, Imo state, FC Sheriff of Moldova and others.
