2019 Copa America: Messi voted MOTM award in Qatar win

The captain Messi has been selected Man of the Match in Argentina's must-win match against Qatar.

Despite not scoring, Messi has played a key role in Argentina's win. The Barcelona forward is a real threat to Qatar's defence line as he got many chances to fluster the rivals and made good passes for Aguero and others.

An early goal from Lautaro Martínez and a late second from Sergio Aguero gave Argentina a 2-0 win over Qatar, a deserved victory that takes them into the Copa América quarter-finals to face Venezuela.
